GOBBLE AWARDED MORTGAGE PROCESSOR OF THE YEAR

CLEVELAND, Tenn. Taylor Gobble, Assistant Vice President – Mortgage Lending at Southern Heritage Bank, was recently honored by the Tennessee Housing Development Agency as the recipient of their THDA Star Rewards – Processor of the Year 2011 award. The award was announced at the 2011 Governor's Housing Summit held in Franklin, Tennessee. The award is given to the mortgage loan processor with the most "perfect file submissions" for the year.
"We are extremely proud of Taylor and appreciate this recognition of the excellent work he does here," said Lee Stewart, President and CEO. "Joy Akins, Vice President and Mortgage Originator, has put together an outstanding team of professionals who continue to provide exceptional customer service and this recognition is another example of that service." Stewart continued, "With the support of the local realtors and the bank's customer base, the mortgage loan department at Southern Heritage has become the largest mortgage provider in Bradley County."
"I could not have accomplished this without the entire mortgage team working together," said Gobble. "Joy, Joe Womac and Kristi Branham develop the business by helping each customer choose the right financing for their particular situation, and then Shelli Cody and Karen Walker do a great job corresponding with the customers and documenting the files before they are submitted to THDA," continued Gobble.
"I am very proud of our team and the results we achieve," stated Joy Akins. "The depth of knowledge and expertise is far greater than that of any other mortgage lender in the area." Akins continued, "Joe Womac, Mortgage Loan Originator, also attended the Governor's Summit and was named one of the Top Originators in the state."
"Southern Heritage Bank is a strong advocate of the THDA program which offers loans to first-time home buyers, and we truly enjoy helping people buy their first home," said Gobble. "I appreciate the recognition of our department for making good quality loans."
The mortgage loan department is located at the main office of Southern Heritage Bank at 3020 Keith Street. They are experts in conventional loans, FHA, VA, THDA and USDA loans, as well as fixed rate and adjustable rate mortgages.
